Do I have to empty my kitchen cabinets?

Usually not. Gel bait is applied in tiny spots on hinges, corners and behind appliances, so cabinets can stay stocked. We do ask that food on open counters is covered and that the areas under the sink and behind the fridge are accessible.

Is gel bait safe with children and pets in the house?

Gel is placed in cracks and behind appliances where hands and paws do not reach, and it is not sprayed into the air. Keep pets away from treated areas for the first few hours, and tell us if you have a crawling infant so we can adjust placements.

Why did the cockroaches increase in the first few days?

That is normal and a good sign. The flushing agent and bait draw cockroaches out of hiding, so you may see more of them briefly, often looking slow or dying. Numbers fall sharply after that.
