How Much Does Termite Treatment Cost in Lahore and Pakistan?
Key takeaways
- Full post-construction termite treatment for a typical home in Pakistan costs Rs 18,000 to Rs 45,000; furniture-only treatment starts from Rs 6,000.
- Price depends on covered area, how far the infestation has spread, outside area, floor type and the chemical used.
- A quote far below this range usually leaves out the perimeter, uses a repellent chemical or has no follow-up.
- Shield Agro inspects free and gives one fixed price before any work starts.
“How much will it cost?” is the first question on almost every WhatsApp message we receive. It is a fair question, and the honest answer is “it depends”, so here is exactly what it depends on, with real ranges, so you can budget before anyone visits.
The short answer
| Treatment | Typical price in Pakistan |
|---|---|
| Full post-construction treatment, typical home | Rs 18,000 to Rs 45,000 |
| Furniture and woodwork only | From Rs 6,000 |
| Pre-construction soil treatment | Priced per square foot of covered area |
| Termite inspection | Free with Shield Agro |
These are the ranges we quote across Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan and the rest of Pakistan. Every job gets one fixed price at the free inspection, so the number you agree is the number you pay.
What moves the price up or down
Covered area. The biggest factor. A 5-marla house has a shorter foundation line and fewer rooms than a 1-kanal house, so it needs fewer drill points and less chemical.
How far it has spread. A colony found early, in one door frame, is a smaller job than one that has reached the ceiling timbers of three rooms. This is why an inspection on the first sign is worth doing.
Outside area. A house with a lawn, garden woodwork and a boundary wall needs an external perimeter barrier as well as the internal one. See our guide to treating large houses with lawns.
Construction type. Marble floors and tiled skirting take longer to drill and make good than a plain concrete floor. Old houses with hollow timber floors are a special case.
The product. A non-repellent fipronil barrier costs more per litre than a cheap repellent spray. It is also the difference between a treatment that lasts years and one that lasts a season.
What a cheap quote usually leaves out
We lose some jobs on price, and some of those customers come back a year later. When a quote is far below the range above, ask what is missing. It is usually one of these:
- Only the rooms with visible damage are treated, not the whole floor junction.
- No outside perimeter, so the colony re-enters from the garden.
- A repellent chemical, watered down to cut cost.
- No follow-up, and nobody to call afterwards.
- Drill holes left unsealed.
What the aftercare should cover
For a full treatment, ask for a written scope that names the whole property and a date for the follow-up visit. Ours covers full termite treatments for five years. A company that will not spell out its scope is telling you something.
