What this service actually involves
Ant trails across the kitchen counter or a lawn full of red ant mounds are both the same problem: a colony nearby with a queen you never see. Spraying the trail kills a few workers and the colony carries on. Our treatment uses baits the workers carry back to the nest, combined with a residual treatment of the entry points and, for outdoor colonies, direct treatment of the mounds. Kitchens, stores, gardens, lawns and paved courtyards are all covered. We also point out what is drawing them in, such as unsealed sugar, a leaking tap or a nest under a paving slab, so the fix lasts.
We do not publish dilution rates or dosages online. The correct quantity depends on the approved product label and on what the inspector finds at your property, and your applicator will confirm both before any chemical is mixed.

How long does it take to see results?
Bait needs time to reach the queen, so expect a few days of continued activity followed by a sharp drop. Colonies are usually gone within one to two weeks. Do not spray the trails yourself during this time, because it stops the workers carrying the bait back.
Is it safe for a kitchen and for pets?
Baits are placed in small amounts along trails and in cracks, away from food surfaces. Cover food and pet bowls, keep pets from licking treated spots for a few hours, and wipe counters before use as usual.
Will you treat the lawn as well?
Yes. Red ant mounds in lawns and under paving are treated directly and the perimeter of the house is treated to stop them entering. Large gardens are priced by area after the free inspection.
