What this service actually involves

Some surfaces need more than a liquid coating: large flat roofs that will carry tanks and foot traffic, basements and retaining walls under ground pressure, podium slabs with planters, and roofs where the slab has many cracks. A bitumen membrane is a factory-made sheet with a reinforcing core, torch-welded onto a primed surface with overlapped seams, forming a thick, continuous and durable waterproof layer. We prepare the surface, prime it, lay the membrane with correctly lapped and sealed joints, and detail every parapet, outlet and pipe with upstands and flashings, which is where most membrane jobs fail when done cheaply. A protective screed or reflective finish can be laid on top for roofs that will be used.

We do not publish dilution rates or dosages online. The correct quantity depends on the approved product label and on what the inspector finds at your property, and your applicator will confirm both before any chemical is mixed.
