General Pest Control for a Whole House: What One Visit Covers in Pakistan

Most families do not have one pest; they have a few at the same time. Mosquitoes in the evening, a cockroach or two in the kitchen, ants on the counter and a lizard behind the clock. A whole-property treatment deals with all of them in one visit instead of four separate call-outs.

It is also the right first step for a new house, a flat you are moving into, or a property that has been closed for a season.

Why it happens in Pakistani homes and buildings

Pests share the same conditions: food, water, warmth and gaps to get in. A general treatment targets the kitchen, bathrooms, stores, garage and the outside perimeter together, so one pest’s hiding places do not become the next pest’s.

Signs you need general pest control (whole property)

• Two or more pests showing up in the same month
• Moving into a new or rented property
• Returning to a house that was closed for weeks
• Preparing for a wedding or event at home

How Shield Agro does general pest control (whole property)

1. Inspection. Every room, store, kitchen, bathroom and the outdoor perimeter is inspected.
2. Kitchen and bathroom treatment. Gel bait and crack-and-crevice treatment target cockroaches and ants where they hide.
3. Residual treatment. Walls, skirting, frames, stores and garages are treated with a long-acting product.
4. Perimeter and drains. Outdoor perimeter, drains and gullies are treated to stop re-entry.
5. Report. You receive a written summary of what was treated and anything that needs separate attention.

What is included

• Whole-property inspection

What does general pest control (whole property) cost in Pakistan?

General Pest Control (Whole Property) is priced on site after a free inspection. Price depends on the covered area, whether there is a garden or compound, and how many problem rooms there are. There is no call-out charge, and the price we agree is the price you pay.

How to keep the problem from coming back

• Book a treatment before you move furniture in; empty rooms are treated faster and better
• Schedule one treatment at the start of summer and one in the monsoon
• Keep the kitchen dry overnight and the bin emptied
• Seal gaps under doors and around pipes after the treatment

Frequently asked questions

What pests are covered?

Cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes, flies, spiders and silverfish. Termites, bed bugs, rodents and bee nests need their own specialist treatment; if we find signs of any of these we will tell you and quote separately.

How do I prepare the house?

Cover or put away food, utensils, pet bowls and aquariums; clear the floor along walls where possible; and make stores and under-sink areas accessible. If the house is empty, nothing more is needed.

How long do we stay out?

Until the treated surfaces are dry, usually two to three hours, then ventilate for a while. For a new home, treating a day or two before move-in is ideal.
