Frequently asked questions

Will the grout go back to its original colour?

Usually close to it. Grout that has been stained for years or is crumbling may not fully recover, and in that case we recommend regrouting the worst sections, which we can do in the same visit.

Is the cleaner safe for my tiles?

We match the cleaner to the tile. Ceramic and porcelain tolerate stronger cleaners; marble, granite and other natural stone need pH-neutral products and are not acid-cleaned. We test a hidden spot first.

How long before we can walk on the floor?

Floors are usable within an hour or two of drying. If grout sealer is applied, keep the area dry and free of traffic for the time we specify, usually overnight.
